Why are HUD homes a great deal?  HUD homes are priced well and HUD provides cash incentives and reduced down payments.  Why do they do this?  Because HUD was created to promote home ownership.  All this adds up to a great value home with little to no money out of pocket.

And why are VA owned homes a great deal. It's the financing!  Almost everyone knows about the great financing available to Veterans.  Well this same financing is available to the public on VA owned homes.  Why do they this?  As a marketing tool to sell VA owned homes.  The problem is that VA does not advertise its availability to the public.

Sounds too good to be true, well it is true.  The reason that most people are unaware of the benefits of buying a HUD & VA homes is 1) HUD and VA do not advertise these programs, 2) most real estate agents are not familiar with the benefits that HUD and VA offers home buyers, 3) HUD uses a bidding system with unique and confusing forms that are unfamiliar to most of the real estate community, which may deter some real estate agents from showing HUD homes.  Another reason is that HUD and VA  homes are sold "as-is" which unnecessarily frightens potential buyers away. Fewer buyers means less demand, creating a great buying opportunity for you.
